The Uniter?

We've been led to believe that the new President will be a uniter. That he will reach across the aisle to bring in opinions and ideas from all sides. Why then did Mr. Obama choose Chicago politician Rahm Emmanuel as his new chief of staff? This stinks of back room politics of the worst kind. Obama owes his win to a LOT of democrats, and that will show in his cabinet choices. With nothing standing in the way of his ultra-liberal friends and agenda, it appears clear early on that he will keep everything close to the vest. I understand John Kerry (the ultra liberal senator from Massachussets) is the top candidate for Secretary of State. As these positions start to flow in, we'll be watching and taking notes and planning for the resurgence of the conservative agenda in just two more years. He may have fooled the MSM, but as someone once said; "You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time". We're watching, Mr. President elect. And we'll be holding you to your word.
