Racism lives in Presidential Election

95%

NBC News is beside themselves this morning, going as far as saying that racial barriers have been broken down in this "historic" election. I agree that it is historic. It is the first time in modern history that 95% of one race voted for the candidate of that same race, while there were two different races running for office. I think it's fair to assume that if 95% of whites had voted for McCain, we would be hearing a MUCH different commentary this morning, not to mention the reports of riots and violence against whites all across this nation. Since, in this case, it appears 95% of blacks voted for Obama, it's A-OK, even celebrated! I ask now that Black America stop whining about inequality, as it is painfully clear that there is no racial bias in this country towards blacks. There IS however still racial bias against whites and it is now being shown by our media with pride. In four years we will be asked to make another decision. Once it is shown that Obama is just speeches (that doesn't work when you are President), will we decide based on emotion or will we return to common sense? It remains to be seen.
